PASA House Concert Series

One of the longest running house concert series in the Philadelphia Area, for more than 20 years, PASA has presented its members in a true house concert setting. Since its creation by Rob Lincoln in 2000, more than 150 different performers have performed as a co-headliner.

Each concert features three PASA members as co-headliners, plus 8 to 12 "Open Chair" performers. Anyone who wants to play an original song can be an Open Chair performer. These shows are in round robin format, one song at a time and the Open Chair slots not only begin the show but also occur at the end of every round. There are usually seven rounds with an intermission in the middle.

Performers:

Ingrid Heldt

Ingrid Heldt began performing long before she could read. Her father, a sound engineer, took her along to sporting, political, and social events, where she'd always end up in front of the mike, singing. She wrote her first song in 1974, and she has written and translated songs for other singers and commercials for companies such as Volkswagen. Ingrid's voice has a soothing, healing quality and has been described as "somewhere between Enya, Sarah McLachlan, Charlotte Church, and Joan Baez."

Nathan Spears

Nathan Spears is a laid back, easy going, relaxed musician. His songwriting career began the first time he picked up a guitar and learned a few chords back on November 6, 1971, actually writing a song before he learned how to play any cover song. His writing evolved with the help of a BA in Communications from Penn State in 1980. Originally born in Georgia and raised in Erie, PA, he has been in the Philadelphia area since 1991. He is a founding member of The Pour Rabbits, a six-piece folk band, that has been active in the Philadelphia music scene for over a decade. His recorded works include a solo CD, "River of Rocks", and a band CD, "The Pour Rabbits Live at the Sellersville Theater". He would like to thank all members of PASA for their help and inspiration over the last few years.

Anthony Viscounte

Anthony Viscounte’s favorite time to listen to music is in the evening, unwinding with velvet, acoustic songs that bring peace at the end of the day. From Carole to James, from Norah to Cat, Anthony’s love of fingerstyle guitar-driven storytelling grows deeper everyday. His own music is a combination of these influences, swirling around messages of love, friendship and hope. He just released his sophomore EP, "The Way You Say Goodnight," which is available on his website.
