PASA House Concert Series

One of the longest running house concert series in the Philadelphia Area, for more than 20 years, PASA has presented its members in a true house concert setting. Since its creation by Rob Lincoln in 2000, more than 150 different performers have performed as a co-headliner.

Each concert features three PASA members as co-headliners, plus 8 to 12 "Open Chair" performers. Anyone who wants to play an original song can be an Open Chair performer. These shows are in round robin format, one song at a time and the Open Chair slots not only begin the show but also occur at the end of every round. There are usually seven rounds with an intermission in the middle.

NOTE: Doors open 30 minutes before concert start time. Please arrive early so we can start on time!

Please bring a folding chair and a snack or beverage to share.

Performers:

	Laura Dishong Laura Dishong is a harpist, vocalist, and songwriter. She's appeared at the Philadelphia Flower Show as a harping Southern Belle and as a toga-clad songstress at Caesars Casino in Atlantic City, among many other venues in the Tri-State Area. She is nearing the completion of her first CD, Little Green Apples, which features 11 of her original songs for rock harp. With the help of her husband, keyboardist Mark Dishong, and her daughter, fiddler Ellie Dishong, she's ready to show you she's got some pluck! Website: www.songsbydishong.com
	Joe Giacoio Joe Giacoio has won several awards for his strange guitar playing and even stranger songwriting. Songs about post-apocalyptic nostalgia and the existential crisis of super-heroes are accompanied by "guitar ninja" riffs. Joe has often been featured on the "Guitar Gods and Goddesses" stage at the Falcon Ridge folk festival. His national TV debut was on the USA Network's "Up All Night with Rhonda Shear". Joe has also been featured on the Dr. Demento radio show. Joe performs concerts at venues up and down the East Coast, and gives lectures on guitar technique and guitar history. 	Kevin Mulderig Kevin Mulderig is a local singer songwriter who has been a PASA member for many years. He writes songs about subjects he is familiar with; the beach, the mountains, friends, and family. His songs are witty and amusing and usually tell a story, with a hint of social consciousness thrown in for good measure. He likes to have a good time and hopes his audiences do too.
	You: The fourth performer can be YOU! The first eight (or so) performers to sign up at the show will sing one original song as part of the concert. This is an extra special OPEN STAGE SHOWCASE OPPORTUNITY, so bring along any instruments you'll want to play. The first people to arrive get to sign up first. The open stage slots often fill up, so come early to get a slot.
